It is impossible to use this function with a TrueType (.ttf) fonts.You need to convert font to PostScript Type1 (.pfb) on your own (google - there are free converters too)

Dehnt oder staucht eine Schriftart (font_index); ist
der Wert des extend Parameters kleiner als 1, wird die
Schriftart gestaucht.

Eine Schriftartressource, die von imagepsloadfont() zurückgegeben wurde.

Dehn-Wert; muss großer als 0 sein.
Rückgabewerte
Gibt bei Erfolg TRUE zurück. Im Fehlerfall wird FALSE zurückgegeben.
