SWFDisplayItem::rotateRotates in relative coordinates

SWFDisplayItem::rotate ( float $angle ) : void

swfdisplayitem::rotate() rotates the current object by angle degrees from its current rotation.

The object may be a swfshape(), a swfbutton(), a swftext() or a swfsprite() object. It must have been added using the swfmovie::add().

Return Values

No value is returned.

if you are looking to place 'rotated text' (not animated)
create the text without a location
then add it to the movie
$di = $movie->add($my_text_object);
then move and rotate the result.
$di->moveto($x,$y);
$di->rotate(90);
