Descripción

rename_function ( string $original_name , string $new_name ) : bool

Renombra original_name como new_name en la tabla global de funciones. Es útil para temporalmente pasar por alto funciones integradas.

Parámetros

original_name: El nombre original de la función.
new_name: El nuevo nombre para la función original_name.

Valores devueltos

Devuelve TRUE en caso de éxito o FALSE en caso de error.

PECL version 1.0.1 of APD will not compile on PHP>5.3.
Search for "pecl-apd" on github to get a patched version (links not permitted here).

As of apd 1.0.1, rename_function is case sensitive.  The parameter original_name must be all lowercase for it to work properly.  Your function can still be camel case, for example, but you must specify that function as all lower case for the original_name parameter.
